Install

  • Run GIA-setup.exe and follow the steps. GIA needs Microsoft Edge WebView2, which Windows 10 and 11 already include.
  • Until the installer carries a code-signing certificate, Windows SmartScreen may say the publisher is unknown: choose More info, then Run anyway. You can check the file against the SHA-256 above first (in PowerShell: Get-FileHash .\GIA-setup.exe).
  • Updates install from inside GIA, and only releases signed with the developer's key are accepted.

Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; 8 GB of memory; an internet connection
Gia and the AI analyst
The free Ollama app and a local model GIA downloads for you (Settings → AI model). A graphics card with about 10 GB of memory runs it comfortably; without one it is slower.
Accounts
None needed for the map and the Wire. A free account, a username and password with no email, unlocks the rest of the free features.

By installing GIA you agree to its terms of use; GIA shows them once when it first opens.
